BNews–MAGELANG–– Lagu “Angostura” dilepas pada 25 Maret 2022 bersama album debutnya yang bertajuk “Gabriel”. Hal ini diumumkan Keshi pada akun Instagram @keshi.
Dari profil Apple Music, Keshi menyajikan perpaduan musik antara pop dan hip-hop lo-fi yang memukau hingga mengumpulkan banyak pendengar dari belahan dunia.
Keshi mulai bermain gitar ketika dia berusia 13 tahun. Lagu pertama yang dia tulis dipengaruhi oleh Ed Sheeran dan John Mayer.
Penyanyi solo asal Texas keturunan Vietnam ini memulai karier bermusiknya dengan mengunggah lagu ke SoundCloud saat kuliah.
Setelah mengumpulkan jutaan streaming dengan lagu-lagu seperti “Over U” pada 2017 dan “If You’re Not The One For Me Who Is”, Keshi menandatangani kontrak dengan Island Records pada 2019.
Lagu “Skeleton” yang dirilis pada 2019 Keshi mengungkap kecemasan yang ia rasakan bekerja penuh waktu sebagai perawat, sambil menyimpan impian untuk membuat musik hingga akhirnya berhenti dari pekerjaannya.
